Facial Hyperhidrosis

In the past endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy (ETS) used to be a recommended approach to treat facial hyperhidrosis but due to accumulated experience and the personal experience of Dr. Reisfeld this is not recommended anymore. There are some doctors who still perform the ETS for this particular reason but this practice is questionable.
